Earlier this month, Realtor Jasmine Rock, registered nurse Kemeisia McKenzie and social worker Jessie Elusma officially celebrated the opening of their first Unique Family Fashion Boutique.
This boutique, also known as U FFaB (pronounced you fab), offers a wide selection of clothing for men, women, boys and girls that will help you look and feel great.
“We had a lot of people dropping by to find out who we were, based on how the store was set up,” says McKenzie. “Because some might say that boutiques usually only wear women’s clothes. But here, we have clothes for the whole family.”

Whether you’re going on vacation or a special occasion, or looking for something to wear every day, U•FFaB has it for you.
It was during this pandemic that the wheel was set to open U•FFaB.
“We have a charity we support that focuses on education in Haiti,” McKenzie said. “That’s called Diligent Actions of Love for Haiti. During the pandemic, it kind of put a damper on the sponsorship and donations we get financially to be able to meet that. So it kind of gave rise to a search for something more sustainable. rather than just doing it from donors and private funds. That, of course, is unsustainable.”
After Hurricane Matthew in 2017, Elusma founded the Diligent Act of Love for Haiti to help cover school and education costs for children. To date, the Diligent Act of Love for Haiti has sponsored nearly 200 children, with the larger goal of sending 500 ch
Combining the same fashion interests, the three women were initially interested in opening an online shop.
“We did our research, and after that, we decided we wanted to be direct and open a storefront,” Elusma said.

But their interest in fashion is not the only thing that makes U•FFaB a reality. With Rock’s eye for real estate and designing good floor plans, and McKenzie’s belief that feeling good is just as important as looking good, opening up U•FFaB has helped them bring all of their unique talents to the table.
Wherever our strengths are, it helps others showcase their own strengths as well and build on those talents, says Elusma.
At U•FFaB, it’s all about education and service. Rock is the wife of a US Navy officer, McKenzie is married to an Air Force veteran and Elusma is a social worker with the heart of a caring teacher. Therefore, U•FFaB will soon introduce Military Monday as a way to get to know the public.
“We welcome the military on any given day, and we really appreciate the people and how friendly they are,” said Rock.
U•FFaB is located at 6675 Pine Forest Road in Pensacola, and is open from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 4 to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at 5pm on a Saturday. For more information, visit facebook.com/uffabboutique or call 850-390-8098.
