Ranveer Singh reacts to Trolled for his Fashion Sense

Ranveer Singh opened up about his lavish and flamboyant fashion sense in a recent Q&A session with fans.

The actor admits that at one point in his life, he felt judged based on his appearance and sense of dress, but he remains unfettered by criticism now.

While chatting with his Twitter fans, the actor also revealed that he prefers a colorful palette when it comes to his fashion choices.

One fan compared Ranveer’s dressing sense to the colorful and extravagant costumes seen at the annual Met Gala.

One Twitter user wrote: “Ranveer Singh has been having gala gatherings every day for years.”

In response, Ranveer Singh admits he doesn’t know what to do but adds that he expresses himself through fashion.

He said: “I used to feel good at expressing myself. I feel judged. I will change my ways to suit the effect that judgment has on me.

“At one point, I let it go. I’m like, people will keep judging so you do, dress the way you want and I’m glad that I’ve been able to develop into a person who does that consistently now.”

When a fan asked the ‘secret’ behind his fashion sense, the actor said that it’s just who he is and not the persona he’s trying to create.

Ranveer replies: “It’s not like I had planned this persona to be flamboyant in the way I dress or anything.

“It’s just me. I like wearing color. I like things that are bright and vibrant. I have realized over a period of time that I am more attracted to a maximalist school.

“But when it comes to space, like a house or a van, I like everything to be minimal, almost very minimal.”

Ranveer soars high on his latest movie release Jayeshbhai Jordaar.

The film, directed by Divyang Thakkar, sees him in the role of a simple man from Gujarat fighting a conservative family to save his unborn daughter.

The film also stars Shalini Pandey, Boman Irani, and Ratna Pathak Shah.

The actor recently wrote a heartwarming message for him Jayeshbhai Jordaar‘s co-stars and team after screening a special film.

Taking to Instagram, the 83 the actor dropped pictures with the cast with a special message for each including Ratna Pathak Shah.

The 36-year-old star shared several photos with Ratna Pathak Shah, writing:

“A special and emotional post-screening moment with legendary singer Ratna Pathak Shah.”

The caption for the second image read: “He’s proud of what we’ve made.”
